Recent research conducted in New York showed that the teenagers of bed early to depression and suicidal thoughts are protected.
Of 15,500 adolescents from 12 to 18 years of study materials, they are asleep before midnight, a 24% tendency to depression than those who slept experience before 2200.
And those who slept less than five hours per night have a 71 percent chance of a depression than those who slept eight hours, according to the Journal of Sleep (Sleep).
In the United Kingdom estimated 80 thousand children and adolescents suffering from depression.

Risk of depression
Among those at high risk of depression, who were ordered to bed by their parents or sleep after midnight, 20% more likely to think of suicide than those who slept before 2200.
Those who slept less than five hours was 48% higher for suicide than those who slept eight hours.
The teens who reported that they had “enough sleep” 65% less likely to experience depression.
Depression and suicidal ideation is more common in girls, older people or those who have low self-perception.
Most parents in the study setting limits around bedtime or early 2200.
On average the teens slept seven hours and 53 minutes per night – less than nine hours of recommendations for the children of their age.
