Sports Match Right body shape

Do you know your body type? If not, you should find out. By knowing your body type, you can know what type of exercise done right.

You can find out by peeking book written William Herbert Sheldon, entitled “Atlas of Men”. In the book, Sheldon classifies the human body in three types of endomorph, mesomorph and ectomorph. To find out the following explanation of each body type:

1. Endomorph (endo): a round shape and tend to have big feet. Narrow shoulders and a big chest. In the form of this endomorp body fat accumulate in the hips and abdomen. Choose the type of exercise that focuses on the formation of abdominal and hip strength. Like kick boxing and sit ups.

2. Mesomorph (meso): Forms of muscular and stocky body. Chest was wider than the waist. Any form of shoulder wide enough. For those who have a mesomorph body shape is recommended for muscle toning exercises to erode fat. This was to form the muscle still proportional.

3. Ectomorph (ecto): Having the hands and feet long with broad shoulders. Tend to accumulate fat in the thighs. According to Sheldon, ectomorph body types tend to be difficult to build muscle without training hard and intense.

Three body types are the basic types. Your body type may be a combination of them such as endo-meso or meso-ecto. But it is not possible combination of ecto-endo.
Not only did Sheldon have this theory, in the treatment India, Ayurveda is also familiar with this classification, but with a different name. Namely, Kapha for endomorph, mesomorph and Pitta for Vata for ectomorph.
